The Christmas Cookie Exchange Host Book

About this book

A cookie exchange is the best party of December, right up until the group chat fills with “I’ll bring something!” and the host starts doing multiplication at midnight. This book turns the chaos into a plan: the Cookie Lineup catches duplicates two weeks early, Batch Math turns your headcount into exact dozens, and the texts to the group are already written.

On party day the trays check in under number cards and the fun starts: ten games in three phases, a proper tasting with scorecards, secret-ballot awards with sixteen certificates, and a gingerbread showdown with its own judge sheets. The swap itself is thirty glorious minutes of organized looting, and the math guarantees every tray empties exactly and every box goes home full.

Then the part your group will fight over in thirty years: twelve fill-in recipe cards written in each baker’s own hand, five original house recipes to lean on, a Hall of Fame, and The Swap Through the Years. Undated on purpose, so one book becomes the tradition.
